Tomorrow furnishes IKEA Trading

IKEA Trading, the purchasing arm of furniture retailer IKEA, has assigned The Tomorrow Group with a corporate communications assignment in China.

“In good times or bad, IKEA keeps going. They realize you need quality communications to succeed,” says Stefan Ronnquist, managing director of The Tomorrow Group.

IKEA Trading Greater China manages some 20% of the total purchases of the IKEA Group and serves the EUR 21 B retailer with furniture and accessories from a number of sources in China.

“I can’t say much about the assignment at the moment, except we are very happy about working with some of the best communicators there are,” says Ronnquist.

With operations in Singapore, Hong Kong, and Shanghai, The Tomorrow Group specializes in seamless branding, marketing, and interactive solutions. Some clients are Challenger Mobile, Finnair, Shell, SingPost, Sony, and ZTE Corporation..
